"In times of war, reliable intelligence is king and Agent Rock Splitter of the Whispering Rock Intelligence Agency (WRIA) is the agency's premier agent. An expert of espionage and a master of disguise, his victims never see him coming until its too late. "

This is my submission for the Art War 4 contest on cubebrush.com that took place last year. This was the first online contest I've ever taken part in and while I did not place in it, it was a rewarding experience.

I created the concept art in photoshop, once that was complete I modeled the characters and their props in blender. Once I had the base models created, I moved them over to zbrush to add more of the finite details and using the program to add colors to the models. Once I was finished with that, I moved it back to Blender to be rendered using the Cycles Engine and later on moved over to photoshop and after effects for post compositing.

I spent went from start to finish with this model, going from the concept phase to fully rendered model within 1 month, the contest went for longer then 1 month, but I was preoccupied with freelance work and gave my client's work priority over this project because it was an extracurricular project. I am really happy with the results of this project, I wasn't sure if I would be able to create such a detailed character in such a short amount of time, I know there is more room to improve the model and I will probably come back and make them look better in the future, but for now I am happy with what I have and I am glad I challenged my self with this project.
